i. Who we are
A ministry, not a data business.
Touch Heaven Ministries is the ministry of Touch Heaven International Ministries, 10 Skyline Drive, Canfield, Ohio 44406, led by Frank and Lorilee Amedia. This page explains what we collect when you join our email list or use the contact form on this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
ii. What we collect
Only what we need.
When you join our email list, we keep:
- your email address;
- your first name, if you give it;
- where you signed up (for example, this website, a course or an event);
- when you agreed to receive our emails, the IP address you signed up from, and when you confirmed your subscription;
- how our emails reach you: whether each one was delivered, bounced or reported as spam, which links you click and, where your email app allows it, whether you opened it.
When you use the contact form on this website, we receive what you type in: your name, email, phone number if you add it, and your message.
We don't take payments on this website, and we never ask for more than we need.
iii. Why we collect it
To send what you asked for.
- To send you our letters, including a short welcome series after you join.
- To confirm your signup. New subscribers click a link in a confirmation email before we send anything else, so no one can add your address without you.
- To keep our list healthy. We use delivery, bounce, spam-report and click information to stop emailing addresses that no longer work and people who no longer read our emails. We measure interest mainly by clicks.
- To read and answer your messages, prayer requests and invitations.
We never use your details for advertising.
iv. Who helps us
A few trusted services.
These services handle information only on our behalf, to run the things described above:
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) sends our emails and tells us whether each one was delivered, bounced, reported as spam or clicked. Links in our emails pass briefly through Amazon's click tracking before they open the page.
- Supabase hosts the database where our email list is stored.
- Vercel hosts this website and the pages where you confirm your signup, change your preferences or unsubscribe.
- Google (Forms, Sheets and Gmail) receives the messages sent through the contact form on this website, stores them for our team, and sends you one email confirming we received yours.
- YouTube plays the videos on this site in its privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube's own privacy policy applies when you play one. The fonts and some scripts on this site load from Fontshare and jsDelivr.
Our email systems are located in the United States. If you write to us from another nation, your information is processed in the United States.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
v. What we never do
No selling. No sharing.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not give it to other organizations for their own use. We do not buy email lists.
Touch Heaven Ministries and New Creation Woman are sister ministries, and each keeps its own list. Joining one doesn't add you to the other, and leaving one doesn't remove you from the other unless you choose "leave both" on your preferences page.
vi. Your choices
One click, any time.
- Unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and many email apps show an "Unsubscribe" button next to our name. One click stops Touch Heaven emails straight away.
- Change your preferences. The preferences link in every email lets you rejoin, or leave both Touch Heaven Ministries and New Creation Woman at once.
- Reply to us. If you reply "unsubscribe" to any email, we'll remove you by hand.
- See, correct or delete your details. Write to us through the contact form below or call (330) 286-3524, and we'll show you what we hold, correct it or delete it within 30 days.
vii. How long we keep it
No longer than needed.
- While you're subscribed, we keep your details so we can send your letters.
- If you unsubscribe, or your address stops working, we keep the email address and the reason on a do-not-email list so we never write to you again by mistake. That is the only way to honor an opt-out for good.
- If you haven't clicked anything in our emails for 180 days and have received at least 12 of them, we stop sending and mark the address as inactive. You're welcome to rejoin any time.
- If you ask us to delete your details, we delete them and keep only your email address on the do-not-email list.
- We delete detailed email activity (such as individual deliveries and clicks) after two years.
- Messages sent through our contact form are kept as long as we need them to reply to you.
viii. Security and children
Guarded, and for grown-ups.
Only the small team that runs our email list can reach it, through accounts protected with two-factor sign-in. Information travels encrypted (HTTPS). No system is perfect; if something ever went wrong, we would tell the people affected promptly.
Our emails are written for adults. We don't knowingly collect email addresses from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, tell us and we'll remove the address.
ix. Changes and contact
Questions are welcome.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant we'll mention it in one of our emails.
