Prophecy

It is disturbing to note how many sensationalize prophecy … yet, prophecy is prophecy. Far from being supernatural “voodoo,” we know the gift of prophecy as the voice of God talking to us. We offer this example ― just one of many ― to illustrate the power of prophecy in our mission.

Rain in Samburu

Samburu was dry, dusty dry. There had been no rain in months. Everything was under stress from the ongoing drought. Contacted by a village leader, Pastor Amedia advised them to pray and fast, and assured them that the rain was coming, because God had told him so. He gave them a date: October 3. And this is the e-mail he received shortly afterword:

Yesterday while I was praying and Fasting as we had agreed - I saw a Cloud forming in the atmosphere and continued to trust the Lord for the Coming Rains. People are praising the Lord for the MIRACLE. WE HAVE RAINS IN ABUNDANCE. WATER SHALL NO LONGER BE A SCARCITY, PEOPLE WILL NO LONGER TRAVEL OF 30 KM TO LOOK FOR WATER, ANIMALS SHALL NOT CONTINUE TO DIE - LIFE HAS TAKEN A DIFFERENT SHAPE. WE HAVE NAMED IT "ELIJAH" GREAT.

Pastor, below is testimony from my disciple in Africa, Pastor Mundeyo. A few weeks back I prophesied that rain would be coming to them as he reported that the people, land and animals were desperate. Clouds immediately began to form, but each time a wind would stir up and blow them away. So I directed a fast this past Thursday and Friday, to break through the evil resistance, and Glory to God, the report came this morning that the rains have come. We can “touch” the world from anywhere we are. Now starting tomorrow we are calling our intercessory team to pray for the rains in Israel – they too have suffered a drought for over six months. And tomorrow is the international day of prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. It would be blessed to pray at our services for this also. As was spoken, the rain came with us — started Tuesday evening, but we need more — need to pray and fast for abundance of physical rain and the outpouring of Latter Day Sspiritual Rains in Israel.

I am in the process of recording a CD and this is a G-d-incidence because the theme song name is: "Rain” -- an African song I wrote in 1992. When I conceived this song I would cry every time I sat at the piano to play it, the Lord told me it was a prophetic song to provoke not only the spiritual rain but the physical rain. … When I read this e-mail about your sons and daughters in the Lord praying for rain I was shocked!

For years when I sing it here in the house or wherever I am it starts to rain really, really hard, to the point that my kids forbid me to sing it if they had plans to go out. Even today when I was practicing my music I started to sing it and my youngest daughter got hysterical and screamed: "Mom, I have a job interview and I just ironed my hair!" lol.

I will send you a copy of the words, maybe they can decree it until I record the music to it.

The Lord has used Frank Amedia to touch tens of millions of lives.

Frank prophesied that Sam Berkowitz, Son of Sam, would turn his life over to Jesus Christ and become born again. He did.

And, by no coincidence, it was Daryl Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, the young girl who died at Columbine professing her love for Jesus Christ, who reached out to Sam Berkowitz.

It was Frank Amedia who originally reached out to Daryl Scott to share a prophesy involving flowers growing amidst a shower of 13 tears. And this turned out to be the piece of artwork that his precious daughter Rachel was drawing just prior to her death.

Frank Amedia, who at one time was himself headed towards a career of rock-n-roll, later prophesied that Alice Cooper would accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Today, Alice Cooper is teaching bible classes in his home.

At one of the most crucial moments in Frank’s life, he attended an event featuring Kim Daniels. Speaking to 7000, she chose but four people to prophesy over. Frank Amedia was one of them. She told him, prophetically, that “your calling is now” and that was the external confirmation Frank needed to go forward and grasp the mantle the Lord Jesus Christ had prepared for him.
